how to disable google chrome's address bar auto complete?
i have the latest version of chrome and im using windows 7 home premium. my basic problem is that whenever i find a site and start to visit it a lot, it will start auto completing in the address bar. ive tried unchecking "use a prediction service", ive cleared the cache and history, turned autofill off, and even tried the shortcut workaround. how in the hell do i turn this off?!?!?!?
Oh, and it even does this for sites i browse in incognito.
Try fully uninstalling chrome and check the "Also delete browser data" box.
Then use CCleaner to fully clear cache/history and other bits.
Re-install chrome,go into the settings de-select suggestion service and then close the browser using the "exit" button (if there is one).Otherwise,close in the normal way,
