What should I do with my Iphone with a bad logic board?
I bought a first generation iphone on ebay and it worked for 3 months and now the messages aren't receiving and the battery doesn't charge correctly. I got it looked at and I was told that I need a new logic board which will cost me about $150. Does anyone have an idea of which the best route to go about this is whether it's getting money for the phone or any comments will be appreciated!
That's the problem with eBay, you just never know what you're getting! A lot of manufacturers do not warranty anything sold on eBay because they may not even stock repair parts for these items. I found that out myself the hard way with an HP printer that went bad two weeks after purchase and wasn't covered under the HP factory warranty. I owned a $135 paperweight! You could try to contact the manufacturer and see if they can help with covered repairs. Hopefully you'll have better luck with your iphone than I did with my HP printer. I haven't shopped on eBay for over two years now! I find that the same products seen on eBay can usually be purchased more reasonably on other internet sites and also will have a warranty! Good luck!
