hard drive space reduced for no reason?
I had a 40 gig hard drive, and this morning i removed a 20 gig one from my old compaq and added it to this one
for some reason now my 40 has gone down to15...
and i dont mean free space left, disk defragmenter says thats its capacity
i dont understand how physical memory could just disappear unless i somehow messed up the drive
i know that no static got in though, and i didnt drop it or shake it around either
any help would be greatly appreciated!
no i didnt set the 20 to slave, but how would it make the 40 go down to 15 though?
I would assume it has found the 20 gig hard drive and booted from it. Did you set the 20GB to slave on the jumper settings?
